“I’ve been employed with SERVPRO of Mason City since 2016, at the beginning of 2018, I was notified that I would be deploying overseas. Prior to the deployment, I had longer drill weekends and annual training.

“Being gone for extended periods of time I know isn’t easy on an employer, especially when it’s one of the key roles within the company; at the time I was the Office Manager for SERVPRO of Mason City. Keith never made me feel as if I was a burden to have as an employee. He allowed me to take off the time that I needed, so I could spend time with family before I left and after I returned home. He along with other members of our team strategized to cover my position when I had to be gone.

“The other reason I nominated him was for his support of employing those who serve in the military and its veterans. We currently have seven staff members who are veterans, four of us are actively still serving in the Army National Guard or Reserve, one of the four is currently deployed overseas.”
